Fire breaks out at cotton mill
In a major fire accident at Eshwara Sai Cotton Industries occurred on Friday in Gajwel Mandal, nearly 3500 quintal of cotton stock was burnt to the ashes, said the management of the mill.

The cotton processing establishment situated on the outskirts of Pidiched village faced a loss of property amounting Rs. 1.3 crore by the fire accident.
According to the management, while unloading the produce from a customer's vehicle, the cotton caught the fire due to the heat of the silencer of the just parked vehicle at the unloading point in the mill yard. In a trice, the fire spread to the huge adjacent stocks of the cotton in the yard and burnt nearly 3500 quintals of the cotton collection.
Immediately, the alerted staff of the mill reduced the damage by limiting the fire by using water hose available there and brought the fire into the control. No one was injured in the mishap, said the management.
