Irrespective of ages people of the town thrown to the roads and sprayed coulours on each other. Municipal Chairperson Sunitha Sampath who also participated actively in the celebrations, extended her greeting to the people. Wine shops and Bars were closed and police beefed up security to prevent unwanted incidents.
