As part of the Swachh Survekshan and allotment of shops in model markets in Rajendranagar, auction was held for Premavathipet and TNGOs colony. The auction was held for 30 shops of which 15 were allotted to the eligible bidders.

Similarly, 2 shops were allotted to Mana Kuragayalu. Deputy Commissioner Rajendranagar office has informed that tenders for remaining 13 shops would be called again very soon. GHMC has established Model Markets across different circles and zones in city to promote safe and affordable groceries and facilitate the citizens.
