Golkonda Handicrafts museum in Siddipet soon
After multi-purpose Open Air Theatre, another state of art center is coming up here. Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao has said that Golkonda Handicrafts Emporium will act as a platform for the artisans from Telangana and also art lovers from Siddipet district.
Siddipet: After multi-purpose Open Air Theatre, another state of art center is coming up here. Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao has said that Golkonda Handicrafts Emporium will act as a platform for the artisans from Telangana and also art lovers from Siddipet district.
After inspecting the progress of the works of the under-construction building in Siddipet here on Sunday, the Minister asked the concerned officials and contractor to expedite the works so that it would enable them to open the emporium for the public shortly.
Stating that Siddipet is known not only for literary personalities and artists, but also artisans, the Minister has said that the emporium will help them sell their work for the art lovers.
He hoped that Siddipet people extend great patronage to the artisans of Telangana. The two-storeyed building of the emporium is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.20 crore. Municipal Chairperson, Kadavergu Rajanarsu and others were present.
