Medak: Telangana State Principal Secretary (Finance Department), IAS K Ramakrishna Rao ordered the district collectors to take the necessary steps to distribute the input subsidy for the farmers who hold the title deeds of agriculture lands from April 15 across the state.

On Wednesday, the Secretary held a video conference with the Collectors and Joint Collectors from the secretariat at Hyderabad along with Revenue Department Principal Secretary Rajesh Tiwari, Rectification and purification of land records project Director Vakati Karuna and Chief Minister Secretary Smitha Sabarwal.

He said that all the banks were taking all the steps to issue the cheques to the eligible farmers in the state. The State Finance Secretary asked the Collectors to update the digital signatures, Aadhaar numbers of the farmers for the foolproof and errorless issuance of land Patta passbooks and input subsidy cheques to the farmers involving the public representatives from April 15.

The District Joint Collector G Nagesh said, “so far, 78 percent of the purification of revenue records has been completed and the remaining would be done soon”. DRO Ramulu, RDOs Nagesh, Venkarteshwarlu and other Revenue Officials participated in the video conference from the Medal Collectorate.
