MLA official camp office cum residence was inaugurated by Minsiter Harish Rao on Thursday morning at the constituency headquarters Gajwel. The constituency is represented by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The mini-camp office is built with modern amenities at an additional cost of Rs. 2 crore for foolproof security measures with 24/7 video surveillance in the wake of recent life threats to the ruling party leaders from Naxalites. The Chief Minister will now be able to hold meetings with the local MPTC and ZPTC members, Sarpanch with a good number of 150 seating capacity here.
Harish Rao performed special pujas at the new MLA quarters along with Medak MP Prabhakar Reddy, GADA OSD Hanumantha Rao, State Housing Corporation Bhoomi Reddy, RDO Vijayendar Reddy, R and D department officials and Gajwel Tahsildar participating in the programme.
The two-storey pristine white building spread in 4,000 sq yards area surrounded with defense wall fenced with blade wire, with two bedrooms, a dining and meeting hall with an elevator.
The new facility is built according to the vaasthu with additional parking place on the Mutrajpally Road in the town by the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department. The ground plus first floor model office is one of the 119 such camp offices for MLAS in the state at their constituency headquarters.
The other camp offices of the MLAs in the state are under construction on a plot of 600 sq yards. After the launching of the facility, more than 100 activists including mandal presidents of Jhara Sangham of Congress and TDP from Jaheerabad constituency joined the ruling TRS in the presence of Minister Harish Rao .
