Hyderabad: In a disgusting incident, when world was celebrating international women’s day, women who were travelling from Balanagar to Yousufguda had a bitter experience with a drunk man.

The incident took place on wee hours of Thursday night. A man travelling in the bus was unaware of his behaviour. He was seen talking to people whom he does not know. And most worst thing was he was seen sitting in the front seat.

Some people were enjoying it because it was somewhere entertainment for them, but there were people were against him.

The drunk man boarded the bus at Balanagar and got down at Yousufguda. And till the time he was in bus and kept staring at women in a different and weird expressions. That awkward and dangerous smile on his face spoke everything. This is not the first time, women have been facing problems at every phase.

Despite Hyderabad having a strong SHE teams, women are still facing the drunkard’s problem especially in buses.

Driver Sudeep said, “It is not that we always allow them but sometimes when we do not keep an eye on people who are boarding in bus, then this drunk people board the bus. Also, it is not our responsibility to keep checking the public because we must keep another eye on the traffic signals and vehicles.”

The passenger Neha said, "A co-passenger on my bus was drunk and was creating a scene. The conductor asked him to move to a seat where he could keep an eye on him, but he refused to shift. He got aggressive and started screaming and few men had to intervene and calm him down,” she adds.

Student Avinash said, as it is a government bus we think they are taking our responsibility by helping us to reach our destiny. Which means they are also responsible for the passengers and things happening with them. And if happens who is responsible,
government?
