Rythu Samithi Sammelan held
Welfare of farmers is a major priority for the Chief Minister and he has been striving for it, said Minister Mahender Reddy. He attended as chief guest for the mandal \'Rythu Samithi Sammelan\' (RSS), held here on Friday. The minister said that KCR turned agriculture viable when pessimism prevailed in the sector.

He attended as chief guest for the mandal 'Rythu Samithi Sammelan' (RSS), held here on Friday. The minister said that KCR turned agriculture viable when pessimism prevailed in the sector.
Through these samithis, investments and pesticides would be given to the farmers, he said. " As many as 482 village samithis, 2,60, 000 farmers are in the district. 42, 000 farmers in Tandur mandal are receiving the services through 132 samithis. Through these RSS, we extend financial assistance of Rs four thaousand to two crops," he said.
MPP Laxmamma, ZPTC Ravi Goud, KP Rao, mandal RSS Convenor Ramalinga Reddy, Ramdas, Sarpanches, MPTCs and TRS leaders were also present.
