Vikarabad: The residents of Gruha Kalpa housing colony are facing acute drinking water shortage. There are a total of 1808 housing units in the colony. Water is being supplied to the residential colony once in four days. But the supply is inadequate, complain the residents.

The state government has not been deploying drinking water tankers to quench the thirst of the people. They are forced to buy drinking water at Rs 40 for a 200-liter drum.
The colony residents have been applealing to the government for permanent measures.
