Transport union calls for State meet on March 20

Bagh Lingampally: Transport Labour union will be organising a state meet on March 20 at Sunderayya Vignana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally. The Chief guest will be former MLC Prof Nageshwar. The meet will be attended by AITUC, TJMU, BWU, supervisors association, CITU, INTUC, TSTUC and private transport federation members.

To withdraw legislation taxes of registration, FC etc proposed in December 2016, to bring down GST on buses and to increase minimum wages to Rs 24000 to benefit labourers working in transport sector were among the agendas for the meet.
