Senior Minority leader of TRS Akbar Hussain and others while welcoming the allocation of Rs.2,000 crore to Muslims in the State Budget as a ‘historic decision’ on Friday celebrated the announcement, along with the party’s youth leader Muta Jaisimha and other activists, at Bholakpur. They distributed sweets to children and garlanded portrait of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

They distributed sweets to children and garlanded portrait of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking at the function, Jaisimha stated that justice has not been done to Muslim even during the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. But after KCR assumed office their lives have changed for the better. With the increase in the Budget allocation, he said, Muslims would march towards progress. Among those present were Minorities leaders Syed Ahmedullah, Baktiyar, Mahmud Ali, Munawar Chand, Ali.
