Stary leopard on the prowl

Parigi: Villagers in and around Kunumasamudram are in Kulkacharla mandal of Vikarabad district have been spending sleepless nights as there is a stray leopard on prowl. The big cat is attacking their cattle and goats during the night time. A farmer’s goat was killed by the cat on Thursday night.

The farmer said “I tied my goat at night and returned home, by the morning I found it dead,” The villagers are frightened to attend their agriculture works due to fear of the wild animal. They requested the forest officials to take necessary action to catch the animal as early as possible.

Meanwhile, the forest officials who inspected the spot said the wild animal might not be a leopard. It could be a Hyena, they felt.
