Construction of Viswakarma Bhavans in districts soon
Assembly Speaker Madhusudhanachary has assured members of the Viswakarma community of any amount of financial support to them from state government. He told them that blue prints to build Viswakarma Bhavan in all districts would be made ready.Â
Hyderabad: Assembly Speaker Madhusudhanachary has assured members of the Viswakarma community of any amount of financial support to them from state government. He told them that blue prints to build Viswakarma Bhavan in all districts would be made ready.
The community members called on Madhusudhanachary besides t he transport minister Mahenderreddy here on Monday and submitted them memorandum highlighting their demands. Mahender Reddy assured construction of the Viswakarma Bhavan in Tandur on the lines of the Girijan Bhavan and Mudiraj bhavan. He said that a meeting of District Collector and RDO of Tandur would be convened to identify a suitable land, as per the choice of the community members, within a week.
He said that he would support the community in hosting a Viswakarma sammelan in Tandur in April. He said that a date would be finalized to host the even after discussing it with the Assembly Speaker. The demands of the community include incusion of the Viswakarmas under Group A, health cards to the community members and pension to the members aged over 50.
Association leaders Srinivaschary, Baluchary, Ravinderchary, Venkatchary, Vinodchary, Tarakachary, Yadagirichary, Narsingchary and others were prominent among those who called on the Speaker and the Minister. The members were assured of taking their problems to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekara Rao.
