Police raid on two sand filtering units in Doma mandal

In response to a report published in these columns in The Hans India’s Tuesday edition dated March 20, the police on Wednesday conducted raids on sand filters units and seized two filter units along with the sand. The raids were conducted by Parigi SI Krishna and ASI of Doma.

Raids termed as nominal Responding to the police raids on the sand filter units, several have described the raids as nominal. Stating that the units are being run in Potireddypalli and Badempalli villages of Doma mandal throwing rules to the winds, they wanted the police to conduct raids on the remaining filter units also.
