Field staff sensitised on crop cutting experiments
District Collector Sayyed Omar Jaleel on Wednesday sensitised agriculture, horticulture, revenue, planning departments’ field staff on crop cutting experiments. He said the PM Fasal Yojana is highly beneficial to farmers who sustained crop loss. If the field staff of various government departments work with coordination, there will be no discrepancies in assessment of loss, he said.
Vikarabad: District Collector Sayyed Omar Jaleel on Wednesday sensitised agriculture, horticulture, revenue, planning departments’ field staff on crop cutting experiments. He said the PM Fasal Yojana is highly beneficial to farmers who sustained crop loss. If the field staff of various government departments work with coordination, there will be no discrepancies in assessment of loss, he said.
He desired constitution of crop cutting committee drafting officers from agriculture, horticulture and planning department officials. District Revenue officer should represent the revenue department on the committee. He suggested that LDM should represent the banks on the committee.
District statistics officer Eswar Rao sensitised field staff on the crop cutting experiments. Agriculture officer Gopal, horticulture officer Sanjay Kumar, CPO Dasarath and others took part in the awareness programme.
