Public representatives, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali along with higher officials of municipal administration and others conducted an inspection of ongoing Charminar Pedestrian Project (CPP), Murgi Chowk, proposed locations for rehabilitation pavement vendors and other developmental activities. Legislators of MIM including Akbaruddin Owaisi, Ahmed Pasha Quadri along with MA & UD principal secretary Aravind Kumar and GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy were part of the delegation.

They inspected the works of CPP and interacted with the contractors concerned. Deputy CM asked the agencies to complete the works in the stipulated time. Officials and leaders have visited various locations in old city and took stock of the works and new proposals. A proposal was discussed to rehabilitate street vendors in front of Salarjung Museum and bridge was proposed to be constructed on that location for this purpose. It is to be noted that MIM had requested the State government to construct two bridges on Musi River to provide space for street vendors and hawkers displaced from Charminar.

The delegation also visited Madina junction and expansion of it was discussed. It was proposed that Madina Junction would be developed and beautified in coming days. Similarly, the officials and MLAs visited the sites of repair and renovation works at Charkaman, Murgi Chowk and other places. GHMC commissioner said that Murgi Chowk would be developed and clock tower at the Chowk would be renovated to its past glory very soon. Similarly, the famous Laad Bazar was also proposed to be redesigned in more attractive way in the future as part of the Charminar area development.
