Govt to strive for welfare of Gouds
Senior TRS leader and Kushaiguda Gouda Sangham representative Sivakumar Goud asserted here that the State government would strive for the welfare of the Goud community, as never done before by any dispensation.

Addressing a rally taken out to thank Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for announcing sops to the Goud community, he listed them as sanction of Rs.5 crore for the construction of Goud welfare bhavan, waiver of toddy-tappers ‘ dues, pension of Rs.1,000 to each tapper, Rs.5 lakh insurance cover following accidental death of a tapper. Members of the Goud community distributed sweets to the onlookers after the rally and performed ‘palabhishekam ’ to KCR’s portrait.
