In view of increasing traffic situations at Shapur Nagar and the way in which auto drivers are parking their vehicles at free will in open places besides roads, CITU Qutubullapur Zone Committee led a programme wherein auto trolley drivers were given uniforms and ID cards as a streamlining process in the trade.

Jeedimetla Police Station CI Shankar Reddy handed the cards and uniforms to the auto drivers at Shapur Nagar market here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Shankar Reddy urged the drivers to follow traffic rules sincerely. As part of the programme, CITU leaders demanded the State government facilitate drivers with their rightful benefits to help them lead comfortable lives. CPM leaders Lakshman, CITU District leaders Lingaswamy, Anjaiah and several others participated.
