Gajwel: A training camp was held on Digital Nerve Centre (DiNC) for the medical staff and Asha workers including Auxiliary Nursing Midwives at an NGO ‘Asha Jyothi’ at Pregnapur village of Gajwel Municipality on Wednesday.

District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr. Amar Singh participated in the programme and said the DiNC was intended to provide the best and easy medical services to the common and poor people in the country in association with the Tata Trusts and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in the country.

By this DiNC, the fast and quality medical services will be delivered to the poor with advices and directions by the experts and specialist doctors including their appointment through phone from home and for the surgeries, said the DMHO, who asked the accredited medical activists and ANMs to work with dedication in delivering the best services to the poor.

Deputy DMHO Dr Balram said the DiNC programme was launched as pilot project in the Primary Health Centres at Kukunoorpally, Jagadevpur, Maddur, Laddur areas in Siddipet district and later the services will be phased out to other places. People can also get the medical services by 24/7 available dedicated mobile application or calling on the toll free number 18005994325, said the District Project Officer Jagannath Reddy.

Tata Trust representatives Vekat Rao and Murali explained the intentions and targets of DiNC to the ANMs and Asha workers with a demonstration seeking them to spread the booklets and pamphlets into the public. The DMHO and DPO and Dy DMHOs distributed presentations to the workers and ANMs of DiNCs who worked for the maximum EHR entries.
