1 EME Centre to hold ex-servicemen rally
As part of outreach programme for Veterans by the Indian Army, a major Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally is being organised at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Sri Padmavathi Women’s University, Tirupati on Sunday. The Rally is being conducted by 1EME Centre, Secunderabad under the aegis of Headquarters, Dakshin Bharat Area.
Hyderabad: As part of outreach programme for Veterans by the Indian Army, a major Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally is being organised at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Sri Padmavathi Women’s University, Tirupati on Sunday. The Rally is being conducted by 1EME Centre, Secunderabad under the aegis of Headquarters, Dakshin Bharat Area.
The aim of the rally is to interact with Ex-Servicemen, Veer Naris, dependents and also sensitise them regarding latest schemes and initiatives available for the veterans both from the Central and State Governments.
Stalls from Military Hospital, Record Offices, Banks, Zilla Sainik Board, ECHS, Veterans Branch will be put up to redress grievances/problems of the Veterans. It is expected that strength of approximately 2000 ESM will attend the rally from Tirupati and adjoining areas. The event will be presided over by Lieutenant General, ST Upasani, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Dakshin Bharat Area.
It will also be attended by Major General N Srinivas Rao, GOC, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, Brigadier Sandeep Bhalla, Commandant, 1EME Centre, Commodore (Retd) MVS Kumar, Director, Sainik Welfare, Andhra Pradesh along with other senior Army officers.
