Banjara Hills: National Institute of Medical sciences (NIMS) residential quarters here are left stranded for years now and the buildings are now in degrading state. Local residents of the colony are now using the space as a dump yard.
A store merchant near the quarters said “People dump garbage here and the quarters stink because of the dumped garbage. A few days back construction waste is also piled up on the road close to the buildings because no one lives and takes care of the buildings. It is also alleged that some people use these quarters for consuming alcohol and partying at nights".
