In a recent incident, residents, and shopkeepers who are currently occupying spaces across the 17th entrance of Malkajgiri have complained of bad stenches emanating from the drainage wastes that are left uncleared by the municipality workers after desilting the drainage systems in the area. Urging the GHMC to take immediate steps for addressing their problems, residents in the colony cite that the smell is causing nausea and suffocation to all those who even pass by the area.
