Cong leaders threaten to stage dharna
Uppal constituency Congress in-charge Bandaru Lakshma Reddy and party in-charges of four divisions on Monday met Uppal GHMC deputy Commissioner Yadagiri Rao and submitted a representation on civic problems in Chilkanagar, Habsiguda, Ramanthpur and Uppal divisions. They stated that the problems have remained unsolved for several months .

They stated that the problems have remained unsolved for several months .
The Congress leaders complained that most of the roads in the divisions have been dug up for laying water pipelines and the work left incomplete. Even the drainage problems remained serious and unresolved.
They threatened to launch a massive dharna if the civic body failed to take action in solving the problems, said Lakshma Reddy,Among those who accompanied the Congress leaders were Musham Srinivas, Jithender Reddy, Pasula Prabhakar Reddy, Vinod, Chemreddy Raghupathi Reddy, Kompalli Balaraju, Borampet Krishna, Bharathi, Prabhakar, Pogula Dayakar Reddy, Balakrishna, Sukku Kiran, Palle Rajkumar, Naresh, Jaleel Pasha, Jahangir.
The DC informed the Congress leaders that the road works were being taken up by L&T and HMWSSB. He assured that the other problems listed in the representation would be solved after holding a meeting.
