At the inaugural run, other special guests included Zohair Arif, Joint Secretary, VIF Educational Society and K. Srikanth, Director Operations DPS, Sushil Director, Pallavi Model School Boduppal, Simi Nagi, Principal, Pallavi High School, Alwal and Robin Michael, Manjula & Mukeshwari from Pallavi International School.

In his welcome address, Kommariah, Chairman, Pallavi International School, appreciated the presence of the Akhil Akkineni for his support towards creating awareness on environment. Actor Akhil captivated the audience with his speech. He emphasised awareness and knowledge of conservation are powerful as they help in saving the environment.

He said he was happy to attend this event on the invitation of Zohair Arif, He said that according to the rankings of the 2016 Environmental Performance Index, India ranks 141 out of 180 countries in terms of air pollution. The other big challenge is lack of environmental awareness and conservation. He encouraged the students to take up the noble cause of conservation and spread it to every one they meet.

The celebrities released balloons and the Run was flagged off by Akhil Akkineni Akhil Akkineni accompanied by dignitaries, motivated the participants of the run by joining them for a stretch of the run. There were approximately 700 participants from all walks of life including students from Delhi Public School Nacharam & Nadergul, Pallavi Model School Bowenpally, AlBodduppal, Alwal, Saroornagar & Gandipet parents, teachers and staff of Pallavi International Schools.
