284 booked for malpractices

n all, 284 students have been booked for exam-related malpractices from March 13 to April 4 at various examination centers under the jurisdiction of the university, according to OU academic audit cell director Prof C Venugopal Rao.  He said that a meeting of principals of examination centers was held on April 9.

He said that a meeting of principals of examination centers was held on April 9.

Eight task force members were appointed to ensure the examination are held in a free and fair atmosphere. Further, 13 flying squads were formed, 58 route officers and 128 observers were appointed. Of the total students booked, 112 were from twin cities, 48 were from RR district and 124 were from Medak. He advised the students against copying in the examinations, which will be continued till April 18.
