Minister lays foundation stone for double bed room houses

Vikarabad: Transport Minister Mahender Reddy on Thursday, laid the foundation stone for construction of 160 double bed-room houses for the homeless poor at a cost of Rs 10 crore.
Addressing a gathering, the minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was instrumental in getting the double bed room houses for the poor which is unprecedented in the country.
The minister went on record stating that the government would go ahead with its programme of building homes for the poor in phases in spite of obstacles on its path. MLAs Sanjiva Rao and Yadaiah took part in the celebrations.
