The Department of Prosthodontics, Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad hosted a National Seminar on “Full Mouth Rehabilitation” at their campus on Saturday. 

Secunderabad: The Department of Prosthodontics, Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad hosted a National Seminar on “Full Mouth Rehabilitation” at their campus on Saturday.

The seminar was inaugurated by Chairman of the College, Major General N Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area. In his inaugural address, the General Officer emphasised that severely worn out dentition has become one of the most challenging procedures of importance in dentistry. He was sanguine that this National Seminar will give adequate food for thought and bring out innovations and ideas to successfully manage clinical situations in day to day practice. He also expressed his desire to make ACDS the top dental college of India.

Dr KV Ramana Reddy, Principal of ACDS delivered the welcome address. Full Mouth Rehabilitation is a comprehensive treatment to restore worn out teeth as well as treatment of related problem like night grinding, aesthetics of smile and restoration of tooth structure. Illustrious Dental Surgeons, Dr Atul Bhatnagar and Dr Sagar Abhichandani had presented and discuss about various aspects of “Full Mouth Rehabilitation” including live demonstration and panel discussion. The programme was closed with valedictory function.
