Military Hospital Secunderabad celebrated World Health Day on Saturday with this year\'s WHO theme \"Universal Health Coverage: Everyone Everywhere\".
Secunderabad: Military Hospital Secunderabad celebrated World Health Day on Saturday with this year's WHO theme "Universal Health Coverage: Everyone Everywhere".
It began in the morning with Brigadier D Vivekanand, Commandant, Military Hospital Secunderabad flagging off the cycle rally with the aim to promote awareness with the help of placards about healthy lifestyle habits and how they can be achieved. It was followed by poster display which comprised of various health related topics such as exercise, dietary advice, addiction prevention and rehabilitation, mental health among other things.
A seminar was conducted at Dhanvanthari auditorium on ‘’Universal Health Coverage: Everyone Everywhere’’ educating the health statistics of our country, the problem in health care and their solutions.
A team of Health care professionals of Military Hospital, Secunderabad and School of Nursing carried out a brief lecture followed by demonstration on CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to several family members at Safilguda and Meadows lines MES accommodations of Secunderabad garrison.
