`35k compensation sought to farmers

Addressing a press meet here on Monday, TDP farmers wing state president Burugupalli Pratapa Reddy said that the state government should not wash off its hands by paying an input subsidy of Rs 4000 an acre. He sought an MSP of Rs 2000 a quintal for paddy. Moreover, he wanted the state government to purchase paddy through the purchase centers.
