While these potholes are creating trouble for vehicular movement on the roads, they have also turned to be pain in the neck for pedestrians too. Though Municipal authorities claim to have laid new roads in many interior areas but the roads here are marred with potholes everywhere. This has been a big issue for the traffic movement here for a long time now.

Not only this, the main road starting from Lal Darwaza, Misri Ganj, Shamshir Gunj, Falaknuma is completely pothole ridden. Authorities are not concentrating on this stretch for taking up repair and restoration works.

It is to be noted that locals have registered complaints through ‘MY GHMC’ App but no action has been taken so far. People have identified many spots where roads caved in, but authorities did not initiate repair works so far.

Following large number of potholes and damages on road, taking a ride on this stretch becomes bumpy for traffic. People are suffering with this road problem for a long time and were expecting that repair works would be taken up during summer but in vain.
