Training program on safe handling of pesticides held
A training program on judicious usage and safe handling of pesticides was conducted by Crop Care Federation of India (CCFI) for farmers at Gajwel on Monday.
Gajwel: A training program on judicious usage and safe handling of pesticides was conducted by Crop Care Federation of India (CCFI) for farmers at Gajwel on Monday.
The farmers were trained on the judicious usage and safe handling of the harmful pesticides while preserving the soil fertility and erosion by them. Mostly, the usage of bio fertilisers is ideal and cheap for the healthy and safe crop yields, the speakers advised the peasants. The program was attended by the CCFI representatives, and agricilutrural officials, Gajwel AO Praveen Kumar and RSS Coordinator Rajireddy and farmers of the area.
Later on, AO Praveen Kumar visited the crops damaged by the hailstorm at Singatam village of Gajwel Mandal along with the TRS leaders, sarpanch and advised the affected farmers to report the damage to the village officlas to get the compensation for the loss of the crops like paddy, watermelon and others.
