Handloom Weavers Sangham celebrates Phule Jayanti
The Telangana Handloom Weavers’ Sangham on Wednesday celebrated the 192 nd jayanti of Jyotirao Phule. It noted with happiness that the TRS government was officially holding the celebrations at Ravindra Bharati.

Sangham president Dasu Netha asserted that BCs could achieve anything if they remained united. He appealed to both the Central and the State governments to strive for bettering the lot of all BC communities. Dasu urged all political parties to provide special facilities to socially backward castes.
The sangham leader hailed the TRS government for extending financial assistance to the families of weavers who committed suicide in distress. He called for increased aid to such families. The sangham was also providing assistance to such families.
