Rich tributes paid to Jyotirao Phule

Jubilee Hills: MLA Maganti Gopinath organised a programme at his party office commemorating the 192nd birth anniversary celebrations of Jyotirao Phule here in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday.

The MLA garlanded the portrait of the social reformer and paid rich tributes to him. Speaking on the occasion, Gopinath lauded the great efforts put in by Jyotirao Givindrao Phule to eradicate social evils like untouchability among minorities. Phule strived for upliftment of minorities and imbibed confidence among them, he added. Diviasional heads, Secretaries, ward members, TRS leaders and activists attended the programme in large number.

Rahmathnagar: The 192nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyothirao Phule was celebrated at Rahmathnagar Corporator office on Wednesday. Rahmathnagar Corporator MA Shafi said that theTelangana government has allocated a budget Rs 5,919.83 crore for the welfare of BCs for the years 2018-2019 and the government has also established Mahatma Jyotirao Phule BC residential schools across the state.

Banjara Hills: TRS Khairthabad In-charge Manne Govardhan Reddy along with 92- Division Corporator Manne Kavitha Reddy participated in birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule at Devarkonda Basthi here at Banjara Hills on Wednesday.

Govardhan Reddy paid floral tribute to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule remembering his social activities and mostly known for women’s and lower caste development and education to everyone. He also distributed buttermilk organised and donated by Ramesh, and Praveen. Local TRS leaders Shiva Kumar, Meghana Thandra, Prem Vairal, Srikanth, Ganesh, Shankar, Juwer, Nishanth, Jyothi Swaroop and others were participated.
