Speed up construction of 2BHK houses: Collector

Sangareddy: District Collector Vasam Venkateshwarlu ordered the officials to speed up the construction of 2BHK houses in the district.

During his surprise visit in Andole and Pulkal mandals, the collector inspected the progress of the ongoing construction of the double bedroom houses . In Adole town, 400 houses at two sites, 100 houses in Dakur village and 150 houses at Singur are being constructed and the Executive Engineer and other concerned official Venumadhav were told to complete the project as fast as possible without compromising on the quality. Later, the Collector inspected the water level at the Singur Dam.

He was accompanied by MEPMA ProjectDirector Ambadas, RDO Srinivas Reddy and Deputy EE Kurmaiah and AEE Kotaiah. Prior to this, Collector Venkatesham inspected the swimming pool at Rajeev park in Sangareddy town where a boy drowned while in the attempt to save his friend.

The Collector, who was apprised by the officials that though the boy was rescued from drowning in the pool but breathed his last while undergoing treatment in the hospital, said the boy’s death was unfortunate and directed the officials to make sure the staff at the pool are always be alert and not to be repeated again by renovating the water body.
