Ministers to attend Basava Jayanti tomorrow
Ministers Naini Narsimha Reddy and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy will attend the Mahatma vBasava Jayanti being organised by the Telangana State Veerashaiva Lingayat Federation in Ravindra Bharati on April 18.

This was announced on Monday by federation chairman and Zaheerabad MP B B Patil after handing over the invitation to the two ministers in their quarters here. Patil stated that among those attending the jayanti were Veerashaiva Lingayat Federation president Bidekhani Hanumanth, women’s wing president Pogaku Rudrama Devi. He said Chief Minister K Chandraseskhar Rao was expected to be the chief guest at the function.
The MP appealed to all Lingayats in the State to attend the jayanti in large numbers to make it a grand success. He praised Mahatma Basaveshwar as a humanist who did not resort to any discrimination and treated all equally.
