Prof E Suresh Kumar, Vice Chancellor, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, inaugurated the first Cultural Fest by foreign students. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Suresh assured the students that the University would work towards attracting more foreign students to join the EFL University for its various prestigious programmes. 

Osmania University: Prof E Suresh Kumar, Vice Chancellor, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, inaugurated the first Cultural Fest by foreign students. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Suresh assured the students that the University would work towards attracting more foreign students to join the EFL University for its various prestigious programmes.

He declared that a gymnasium and a recreation centre exclusively for the foreign students will be opened very soon on the Campus. He encouraged the foreign nationals to work towards their degrees diligently and with a positive attitude.The Cultural Fest showcased the cultural tapestry of different nations represented by the foreign students of the University. As part of the event, students exhibited posters and provided glimpses of cultural artifacts of different countries.

The Fest provided an opportunity for the participants to share their culinary expertise too. Sixty six participants from thirteen countries participated in the Fest to spread the message of cooperation, peace, and solidarity. Students participated in the programme with lot of enthusiasm and made it a great success. On this occasion, Prof Bikram K Das (former CIEFL faculty), an eminent scholar and language expert, delivered a talk on “Language and the Articulate Mammal.”
