Hyderabad: National president of Sarvaseva Sangh Mahadev and general secretary Shaik Hussain on Wednesday appealed to the State government to seize the occupied Bhoodan lands and distribute them to the landless poor.
They were addressing the 67th anniversary of the Bhoodan agitation under the aegis of Telangana Sarvodaya Mandali at Press Club, Basheerbagh. Mandali president Vedari Arvind Raddy was in the chair. Mahadev and Shaik Hussain garlanded the portrait of Acharya Vinoba Bhave, along with mandali general secretary R Shankar, CPI Central Executive Committee member Azeez Pasha, IAL general secretary B Prabhakar, mandali leader Prasad.
