TS, Central Wakf Boards conduct meet
A meeting was held between TS Wakf Board members and the visiting Central Wakf Council (CWC), New Delhi, here at Haj House on Thursday.
Nampally: A meeting was held between TS Wakf Board members and the visiting Central Wakf Council (CWC), New Delhi, here at Haj House on Thursday.
During the meeting the Central Wakf Council informed the Board that they can avail funds to the tune of Rs 50 crore in the form of loan for developmental activities and utilisation of various schemes for Minorities. The Chairman of TS Wakf Board expressed satisfaction and felt that if the loan is sanctioned it can be utilised for many schemes, particularly where the beneficiaries are poor and needy. He said that the visit of the Central Wakf Council was fruitful.
The members from CWC who attended the meeting are MP, Chaudhry Mehboob Ali Kaiser, Mohammad Hamid, Abbas Ali Bohra, Munawari Begum, Dr Nizamuddin Mohsin, Irfan Ahmed, Naushad, Rais Khan Pathan. Two others Md Salim Ashrafi and PA to Secretary (CWC) , Naushad Zafar were also present.
