PMUY programme held
The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was organised here on Friday under the leadership of village sarpanch Md Gousuddin. Vikarabad MLA B Janjeeva Rao, District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel, MPP Bhagyalakshmi, Vice MPP Begari Ananthaiah attended the event. Siddalur: The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was organised here on Friday under the leadership of village sarpanch Md Gousuddin. Vikarabad MLA B Janjeeva Rao, District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel, MPP Bhagyalakshmi, Vice MPP Begari Ananthaiah attended the event. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA expressed happiness over selecting the Siddalur village under Gram Swaraj Yojana. He also appealed the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana scheme to utilise LPG for cooking and protect their health.
He also appealed the people to participate in the various welfare schemes implemented by the state government. The Collector said the village was one of the four villages selected under ‘Gram Swaraj Abhayan’. Beneficiaries will be selected under seven central government schemes, he said. The MPP congratulated the beneficiaries. MPDO, MRO, APM and others were present.
