Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis held a review meeting on the pending cases under the jurisdiction of Police Commissionerate of Siddipet on Friday at a private college at Ponnala State Highway. He said, in property cases, the investigation to find the traces of criminals should be done in all possible cases to recover the lost property cases and every directory of files should has the plan of action and the checklist. In order to reduce the crime rate in the purview of commissionerate, police need to use the technology with the footage of CCTV cameras to unravel the mysteries of criminal cases and motivate the villagers and business people and petrol pumps for the installation of CCTV cameras in their places.

Clear sign boards should be set up at the agricultural open wells adjacent to the highways and arterial roads with the help of farmers and village officials. A surveillance should be maintained on the rowdy sheeters and old criminals by insecting lodges, bus stands and other public places, said the Commissioner.

ACPs were directed in the meeting that the investigation in the POCSO and SST and pending cases should be integrative and resolved at a fast case with the help coordination of court officials and higher-ups to strengthen the trust in the department among the people. The review meeting also discussed the drunk and driving cases, anti-social cases, IT Cell and Cyber Lab to keep the law and order in place in the district. Additional DCP, ACPS and Traffic ACPs, CIs and Sis under the commissionerate participated in the meeting.
