Veteran ENT specialist to attend International ENT Conference
Dr Mohan Reddy, a veteran ENT Specialist from Nova ENT Hospitals Somajiguda on Friday was invited to attend an International ENT Conference which will be held from April 25 to 27 in Alexandria, Egypt to deliver the keynote address on the subject of Endoscopic Ear Surgery.Â
Hyderabad: Dr Mohan Reddy, a veteran ENT Specialist from Nova ENT Hospitals Somajiguda on Friday was invited to attend an International ENT Conference which will be held from April 25 to 27 in Alexandria, Egypt to deliver the keynote address on the subject of Endoscopic Ear Surgery.
Dr Mohan is known for his innovations and implementations on endoscopic ear surgery which is a new approach for treating ear diseases, he is also one of the board members of International Working group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery (IWGEES) representing India by travelling to different countries delivering lecturers to popularise the new approaches of Endoscopic Ear Surgery.
Dr Mohan Reddy said, “Endoscopic Ear Surgery has many advantages over the conventional approach. In this approach the ear diseases are operated by introducing a rigid endoscope through the natural ear canal and without causing any wounds, healing is quick and the procedure is cost effective. More importantly the New Endoscopic Ear Surgery is very useful for the people of rural areas of our country and other underdeveloped nations as the equipment used is simple and can be easily carried to rural medical camps for deafness eradication programmes.”
Dr Mohan is also working on developing modern ENT Endoscopic Centre to further advance the techniques of endoscopic ear surgeries and also to introduce innovative Endoscopic applications to all the areas of ear, nose and throat surgeries.
