According to the orders of the chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Collectors of all the districts including some Joint Collectors on Sunday visited successful model developmental works and schemes in Gajwel Constituency in Siddipet district to implement them with the similar plans and coordination at fast pace in their respective districts.

The study tour of the Collectors’ team started at 10:00am in the morning after having breakfast at Forest Guest House at Mulugu mandal headquarters till the afternoon.

After taking a pledge on the account of the World Earth Day, the team of IAS officers, started their visit by a bus arranged by the State Forest Department from Mulugu, inspected the reforestation, avenue plantation, block plantation and research nursery as part of Telanganaku Haritha Haaram program before perusing the photo exhibition in the presence of State principal chief conservator AK Jha at Mulugu, Chief Minister’s brainchild scheme and the construction of G plus 1 model 2BHK houses at Sangapur for the poor on war footing and Education Hub at Gajwel and piped Drinking water project Mission Bhageeratha at Komatibanda in Gajwel Constituency which is on its way to be made model constituency in the state. The district Collector explained the planning and implementation of the development works to his fellow colleagues with the help of mike.

The team Collectors observed in detail about the KG to PG Education Hub with schools, inter and degree colleges, labs including hostels. On the way to Mission Bhageeratha sumphouse and water distribution site at Komatibanda, the collectors were explained about the veg and non veg market complex with modern facilities at Gajwel. Then the team returned to the Forest Guest House at Mulugu where they had lunch and were felicitated with the mementoes by the district Collector P Venkat Ram Reddy before despatched.

Speaking at the press meet, the Collector Venkat Ram Reddy said all the 31 district Collectors had visited the Constituency represented by chief minister K Cahndrasekhar Rao who ordered them to tour. Forest regeneration in 13000 acres, Haritha Haaram and avenue plantation along 1100km to increase the green coverage in the district were 100 per cent successful. Education Hub, 2BHK houses, Mission Bhageeratha are the model developmental projects in the area which should be implemented in the all the district with the same plans and speed, he said.
