Ramakrishnapuram railway station wallows in neglect
The passengers boarding trains at Ramakrishna Puram Railway station, near Neredmet, are suffering without basic amenities. The station authorities have turned a blind eye to the complaints by passengers and continue to keep the passengers at risk.

The station has no drinking water facility and there was no attempt made to repair the motor pump within the station to ensure water flow.
On the other hand, the station had turned into a hub for drunkards in the night. The passengers are forced to sustain the ever ending abuses from the drunkards till they board the train.
"The pathetic condition of the railway station remained the same for the past 20-year and no development activity was taken up to renovate the station and make it suitable for the passengers to travel. We request the concerned authorities to take up the issues and also turn the station into safe zone to travel," said locals.
