In order to prepare for the yet to be released notification of 18,000 police constable posts by the state government, the interested unemployed youth including men and women, who had enrolled their names at the concerned police stations for the free coaching.

Siddipet: In order to prepare for the yet to be released notification of 18,000 police constable posts by the state government, the interested unemployed youth including men and women, who had enrolled their names at the concerned police stations for the free coaching that to be provided by the Siddipet Commissionerate with the initiative by District Collector P Venkatram Reddy and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao for the main entrance examination of police constable, attended for the screening test at three examination centres arranged at the division headquarters on Sunday.

Out of 4,071 enrolled candidates, 293 students i.e. from Gajwel-126, Siddipet-77 and Husnabad-90 were absent for the screening test which was held from 10:00am to 13:00pm.

The Commissioner of Police Joel Davis said the screening test was successful and the candidates who belong to the villages facing submergence by the irrigation projects in the district will get free coaching without screening test and the candidates who had written the screening test will be selected through the physical events which the candidates should utilise the opportunity, said the CP. The screening test was overseen by Addl. DCP Narasimha Reddy at Gajwel centre, Addl. DCP Prabhakar Reddy at Husnabad and Addl DCP AR Babu at Siddipet centres with the police protection.
