Basti Dawakhanas a success,demand for more
It is the responsibility of the State government to provide medical service to the people at the grass root level. The initiative of the State government to provide small medical service to the people living in Basti succeeded. This medical service which was spotted near to the basti is easy access for people to avail the facility.

In the similar way, there is a need of the government sponsored medical service at Indiranagar, Bihar basti, Ekalavya nagar. The basti comprises of at least 60 streets. As there is no proper way from Goutham Nagar, the locals have to commute through Mahender Hills to reach the city, but in the meantime there could be loss of life.
So the people living there are requesting the government to set up a small medical service (Basti Dawakan) to ensure immediate medical service during emergency.
P Sathyanarayana, local, appreciated the initiative of the State government for offering medicines at free of cost along with the free medical service. At the same time they urged the government to provide the same in other bastis too.
