In a ghastly road accident, one died on the spot while other was injured. The mishap occurred near Navaru Rami Reddy Function on Srisailam main road in Kandukur mandal of Rangaredddy district on Wednesday.

While Dannaram residents Chukka Prasanth (23) and Chukka Rajini (19) were proceeding to Tukkuguda on their two-wheeler (TS08EW9509), a lorry(AP27TZ2796) hit them from rear side, when negotiating to overtake their vehicle. Chukka Prasanth died at the spot. Rajini who was Injured severely was shifted to hospital for treatment. Prasanth’s dead body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
