Hospital ward sans fans

Gandhinagar: Even as mercury levels are rising every day in twin cities and across Telangana, the patients in some wards of government-run Gandhi Hospital had to bear the brunt of official apathy.

A picture was shared on social media tool Twitter by a senior Congress leader Khalleequr Rahman that patients were lying on beds without a fan in the ward. He shared the picture of the ward and requested Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao to ask the officials to give patients some respite from the scorching summer heat.
