BJP demands `10,000 cr towards BC loans

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party’s OBC Cell demanded the state government to release white paper on loans sanctioned to backward classes in the last four years, on Monday.

OBC cell state president Katam Narsimha Yadav along with general secretary Anjaneyulu alleged that state government without sanctioning the loans, playing with the lives of the backward classes. The government did not done allocations to the BCs in the last two budgets, they criticised.

The leaders said that 5.33 lakh BCs applied for the loans but nothing was sanctioned. They alleged that the TRS government is treating BCs as votebanks. OBC cell leaders demanded sanctioning of Rs 10,000 crore towards BC loans Leaders K Sridhar and Ramulu were present.
