GHMC holds review meeting
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commission (GHMC) has geared up for clearing the debris and silt from the storm water canals (Nalas) across the city.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commission (GHMC) has geared up for clearing the debris and silt from the storm water canals (Nalas) across the city. A review meeting has been conducted on this issue under the supervision of Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy and other senior officials.
Mayor has asked the town planning officials to take help of the public representatives in order to clear the hurdles in the way of Nala widening across the city. Take up the widening of Nalas where properties were acquired with priority stated Mayor and reminded the officials to pay their stipulated remuneration for land acquisition before taking up the works.
He further suggested that help from the enforcement wing to take up the widening works and asked the officials to speed up land acquisition of properties where owners agreed to give their properties.
