Jr college building will be ready by July: MLA Vivekananda
Local legislator KP Vivekananda on Sunday noted that children of the poor and weaker sections have not been pursuing education for want of amenities. The MLA pointed out that not even one good government junior college was there in the locality.Â

Therefore, he took the issue to the notice of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and got two acres of the R and B land at Bahadurpally for the junior college. Also, the MLA got Rs 2.5 crore released for the construction of the junior college.
The MLA inspected the junior college under construction and asked the contractor to make the building ready by July. The MLA said that the junior college was being run from a small dingy room in a government school for the past eight years.
He said the new junior college building was a boon to the students in the locality. The college would be accessible to students of the region, he said, disclosing further that there were plans to upgrade the college to that of a degree college over a period of time.
